MAPPI FURNACES FOX SERIES

The Fox series is a collection of compact furnaces with loading dimensions starting from 1050×2300 mm, specifically designed to meet the needs of small to medium-sized glassworks. Despite their compact size, Fox furnaces feature the latest industry technologies, delivering high-quality results and cost efficiency even for smaller production runs.

Energy Efficiency Through Innovative Solutions

Every Fox series furnace is designed to minimize energy consumption using advanced Mappi technologies such as the Multizone Heating System (MHS), Advanced Cooling (AC), and the Energy Saving System (ESS). These exclusive solutions ensure optimal energy efficiency without compromising performance.

Industry 4.0 Integration with Siemens Technology

Thanks to a strong partnership with Siemens, Mappi's Fox series is the first in the glass industry to be recognized as “Powered by Siemens.” This certification allows the machines to integrate seamlessly with MindSphere applications, embracing Industry 4.0. The result is a fully connected production process, from planning to quality reporting, marking a significant leap forward for the glass manufacturing industry.

SMALL IN SIZE, GREAT IN RESULTS

  • Individual heating zones are managed based on thermocouple data for precise temperature control.
  • Heating zones are automatically adjusted to prevent overheating, ensuring optimal furnace performance.
  • Conveyor motors in the heating and quenching sections are independently controlled for maximum operational efficiency.
  • Ventilators powered by DC motors with electronic speed control provide significant energy savings.
  • The entire system is managed by Siemens PLC software for seamless and reliable operation.
  • The TAB system enables Mappi to quickly and efficiently monitor furnace conditions in real-time.
